**The Opportunity**:
You'll be joining our amazing Production team as the Line Leader, working within a fast paced environment right at the heart beat of the business.

**Job Title**:Line Leader

**Reports to**: Supervisor (Direct), Production Manager (Indirect), Operations Director (Indirect)

**Based at**:Expac (Preston) Ltd based at Units 1 & 2, Tomlinson Road, Leyland, Preston PR25 2DY

**Job Purpose**:
The Line leader oversees the production activities within their line. Line leaders’ responsibilities varies from filling out paperwork and filing reports to managing production assembly lines and helping their team complete orders.

**Duties / Areas of Responsibility**:

- Assigning workers production line tasks
- Direct and manage the line workers to complete tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Training and supervising new production line workers
- Capable of operating and setting up of production lines with the assist of Technicians department
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure that orders are completed on time
- Carrying out quality checks and recording it on the paperwork and tracking and recording line efficiency
- Identify production line issues quickly and find ways to resolve them so that deadlines are still met without compromising quality with the support of the Supervisor & Engineers
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.50-£11.75 per hour
