We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our successful and busy catering team at the 1620s House & Garden, near Coalville, which was recently awarded the hidden gem accolade by Visit England.

The successful candiate will support the catering officer and fully assist with the delivery of high quality service to customers, including preparing beverages, ingredients, cooking and serving food to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities also include preparing the tea room for daily public service and set-up for private hires and events, which will include moving furniture and equipment, preparing the kitchen and service area, clearing during and after service and ensuring all areas of work, crockery and utensils are cleaned and stored following food safety management system and health & safety requirements.

The 1620s House & Garden is open Thursday
- Sunday plus Bank Holidays, April
- October. The tea room is available to hire during the year and we also run a comprehensive event programme, so there will be a requirement to cover days/evening, events and bank holidays.

This post is based on a casual contract.
