Electrical Tester

**Qualification Requirements**

Below are the requirements laid out for the electrical testing, all three bullet points must be met. They are allowed to have the equivalents to City and Guilds such as LCL or EAL.
- City and Guilds 2391 or 2394 or 2395 Inspection and Testing
- City and Guilds 2357 or 2365 or 2360 Part 1 and 2 or NVQ Level 3
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

**Day to Day Job**

Below are the tasks that the individual would be carrying out.
- Testing and Inspection - in domestic but the company are looking to go into the commercial side so they would be in schools, shops and hospitals
- Completing remedial works/ small works - only small scale repairs

**Knowledge**
- They will need to be able to give examples of C1 C2 and C3
- They will need to know the 3 most common Earthing systems and their maximum Ze Values:

- TNS - 0.8 ohms
- TT - 100 ohms
- TNCS - 0.35 ohms

**In return for your commitment and expertise, you will be offered**:

- An hourly rate of between £16-18 per hour (depending on experience) with realistic £40,000 - £45,000 per annum with overtime, travel time.
