SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Perry Barr who are looking for a Governance and Executive Assistant to join the team for an initial 3 month period
Start Date: 1st March 2023
Hybrid - core days in office Tuesday -Thursday Monday/Friday can work from home
£35,000 - £40,000
Must have experience with Governance
PURPOSE:
The role will:

- Work closely with the CEO and Company Secretary to support all areas of the governance, including the Board and its sub-committees, the Executive leadership team, the Members and the Commission.
- Provide a professional and efficient administrative support to the Chair and CEO as well as the Executive Management Team.
- Provide secretarial support to subgroups and committees, and the working groups, ensuring that they are equipped to discharge their responsibilities with confidence and with timely information and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Liaise with key groups, including the Board, Executive Management Team and Members in relation to:

- Arranging and ensuring the smooth operation of meetings.
- Sending and co-ordination of diary invites for all meetings.
- Preparation of agendas and papers for meetings.
- Attend (either virtually or in person) all requested meetings - ensure agendas and support papers are issued in advance and prepare and distribute meeting action logs.
- Take minutes and track meeting actions.
- Provide a comprehensive personal assistant service to the Chair, CEO and Executive Management Team with relevant administrative support required for their roles. This could include but is not limited to:

- The raising and management of purchase orders for relevant goods and services in a timely manner.
- Assist in diary management, expenses claims and travel arrangements.
- all working group meetings.
- Provide support around major events, including in relation to VIP invitees and hospitality.
- Additional duties as may be required by the line manager which may include providing additional administration support to other business areas depending on work load and as agreed with the line manager.
