Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher

Location: Salford (Pendlebury)

Are you a Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher looking for a new position to start after the Easter break?

We’re partnering with an ‘Good’ Primary school, who are looking for a strong Primary Teacher in KS2 to start in a long-term 4 days per week post in the Salford area. The post will start in April 2023 - July 2023 (mat cover)

As the Primary Teacher you will be working across Key Stage 2 teaching and supporting children with their learning and development. This is a 4 day per week role on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The school is a 3 form-entry school, and you will be working with a success experienced KS2 Team who are very supportive.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaching all areas of the KS2 primary curriculum
- Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of primary-age pupils
- Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class, you will share planning with the other KS2 Teachers
- Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Maintaining discipline

Required Skills & Experience:

- KS2 experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience, and self-discipline.
