Accounts Assistant

Based in Ballymena, our client operates within the construction sector and is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their Accounts team.
Reporting into the Accounts Manager the successful Accounts Assistant will:
- Maintain both Sales and Purchase Ledgers, processing Sales and Purchase Invoices
- Processing Employee Mileage and Expenses Claims
- Processing Mastercard Receipts
- Bank Reconciliations
- Assisting with the supplier payment process
**Criteria**:
- 5+ GCSEs, including Maths and English with minimum 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role
- Proficient in Excel, including the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulas
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience of Sage 200 / Eque2 Accounts
- Experience of working within the Construction Sector
Salary is in the region of £25/26k plus pension and generous leave entitlement, plus an early finish on Fridays
There is also the possibility of hybrid working upon completion of probation.
