**The Role**: Finance Administrator

PIB Group is a leading insurance intermediary group. We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our growing Finance Team based in Retford, with a focus on the London Market.

As a Finance Administrator, you will be a key member of the team responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and providing administrative support to the IBA Wholesale Team. This role is a critical position within the first line of defence for the organisation and an excellent opportunity to develop your finance career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and reduce monthly aged debt for the Group.
- Follow up with brokers for settlement of debt to ensure collected within credit terms.
- Manage workload effectively and ensure statements are sent in a timely manner.
- Work with insurers and colleagues to resolve statement queries.
- Ensure all premiums are settled to insurers within the given timescales.
- Escalate issues and queries to manager in a timely basis.
- Perform ad hoc duties as and when required.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a financial administrative role is desirable.
- Experience with Excel, Outlook, and other MS Office systems is essential.
- Experience managing a busy inbox is advantageous.
- Previous experience in collections or credit control position is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are necessary.
