What does day to day life look like at IMG as a Health Policy Administrator, well every day is different here at IMG but the main duties and responsibilities for a Health Policy Administrator are.
- Provide end-to-end administration and support for the purchase path, creation, fulfilment, and amendments of all individual and group policies under our ALC Prima, Global Prima and IMGE products.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clientsand ensure all internal and external communications are dealt with in a professional, disciplined, and courteous manner at all times.
- Assist with all enquiries from members, their relatives, and brokers on policy related matters in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
- Always demonstrate a sense of urgency, being able to prioritise tasks in favour of customer satisfaction and adherence to all internal protocols.
- With training and support, be fully familiar with the policy management systems and IMG’s service standards, ensuring all assistance provided is done so in accordance with these.
- Bring to the attention of a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager any failures or development opportunities regarding the policy management and telephone systems.
- Bring to the attention of a Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager any issue that is likely to be contentious or that will potentially result in a serious complaint, or any issue that involves the media or a VIP.
- Undertake any additional tasks or provide interdepartmental support, as required by the business, and agreed with a Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager

What We're Looking for:

- Familiarity with general office procedures in addition to being computer literate with good keyboard skills. A sound working knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite is a requirement.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is imperative.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a close-knit team.
- A diplomatic, open style and approach and the ability to demonstrate customer led thinking with strong customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise the workload and use your own initiative.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, delivered in a clear and professional manner.
- Proactive approach to work and analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to identify when it is appropriate to escalate a problem.
- Adaptability and flexibility to suit the needs of the team, department, and company as a whole.
- Previous customer service experience and/or experience of the private medical insurance industry and policy administration or underwriting would be an advantage.
