Education Ethics are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor / Tutors / HLTA / Unqualified Teacher to work across the Cardiff and the surrounding areas on a supply basis. We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual with the ability to relate to and motivate our students when covering for absent teachers. This person will be responsible for supervising/supporting students in classrooms across the curriculum within Secondary mainstream settings.

This is a supply role, and therefore allows for flexible working arrangements and varied assignments, at varying schools.

Being a cover supervisor consists of supervising classes to ensure that the behaviour is under control and students are engaged in their work. Furthermore, you will be aiding pupils with their KS3 and KS4 learning. As a cover supervisor you will need to ensure pupils are on the right track as you will be the eyes and ears of the class.

**Responsibilities**:

- Controlling the behaviour of the class
- Dealing appropriately with challenging behaviour
- Making sure the work provided has been completed by the students
- Liaising with other members of staff in the school
- Safeguarding students
- Covering in the absence of the class teacher

Excellent rates of pay £80.00 to £90.00 per day (depending on experience)

Working hours are from 9am - 3:30pm

**Salary**: £80.00-£90.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
