John Madejski Academy is a multi-cultural, multi-faith mixed comprehensive Secondary School in the heart of Reading, where diversity is celebrated. Years 7 to 11 are developing and rapidly expanding and our Sixth Form has seen substantial academic success. Our students have a wide range of opportunities, and PE and Performance Sport plays a significant part of school life here, with high quality sports coaching available through our performance sports programmes.

We couldn't do what we do without our amazing team of staff, and we are currently seeking to appoint an exceptional, dynamic, committed Vice Principal (Behaviour) with demonstrable School Senior Leadership experience, who will have overall responsible for all aspects of student conduct and welfare at John Madejski Academy. The role involves direct responsibility for behaviour as well as the line management of heads of year and members of the support team.

As a member of the Leadership Team, the Vice Principal (Behaviour) is responsible for overseeing the effective running of the school and ensuring that the highest academic and professional standards are maintained at all times. The Vice Principal (Behaviour) reports directly to the Principal, and deputises for him/her as required.
