The Halley Academy is seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join us as soon as possible. You will be working as part of a team, assisting the Academy Leadership Team in ensuring the safety and welfare of pupils during the midday lunch break. This will involve effective supervision of students in and about the Academy site in accordance with the high expectations that we have of all students. Midday Supervisors act as role models for our students, as friendly and familiar faces in our staffing body.
- Supervise students and manage their behaviour in the restaurant and the playground at break and lunchtimes, including orderly queuing when necessary.
- Take responsibility for students' welfare, safety and supervision during the lunch break.
- Act as a role model and encourage good behaviour amongst students.
- Deal with any spillages in the dining hall in accordance with infection control procedures.
- Ensure students are directed to the appointed First Aider when needed.
- Ensure, in accordance with instructions given, that all students return to class at the end of the lunch period.

This is a permanent position working 10 hours per week, term time only and offering an actual salary of £6,305 per annum (£25,983 full time equivalent)
