**About the role**

We're excited to be looking for a **Procurement Assistant** to join our **Commercial Services Team.**

As a Procurement Assistant you will be responsible for working as part of a busy procurement team to provide high quality support and guidance to the business ensuring compliance with all policy and regulations.

The role will bring additional capacity to the team to support NCFE’s growing and increasingly sophisticated supply chain and make sure all service levels are met. A key part of the role will be to help build a first-class procurement function whilst monitoring compliance as a critical friend to the business.

Working collaboratively and proactively, you will provide professional administration support across a range of procurement and purchasing activities, ensuring all duties are undertaken with care and attention to detail

**In this role you'll be responsible for**:

- Ensuring that all company purchase orders are compliant and checked for accuracy, completeness before issuing or authorising.
- Providing guidance to the business regarding procurement policy/procedures and monitor compliance.
- Documenting processes and procedures for the department
- Administering and processing procurement Service Desk tickets in line with SLAs.
- Creating, issuing and logging range of NCFE standard contracts.
- Ensuring new suppliers are vetted and setup robustly on the system
- Facilitating the tender process from sourcing suitable suppliers, preparing tender documents, managing submissions, tender presentations and evaluation meetings through to preparing structured feedback to bidders.
- Managing specific projects to meet objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed.
