Reactive Weekend Support Worker

The focus of this role is on immediate care requirements, and the working hours may be situated in Runcorn, Widnes, or South Liverpool. The minimum call duration for each visit is 30 minutes.

As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include providing companionship and care, assisting with medication, preparing meals, helping clients engage with the community, running errands, and offering home help like housekeeping. It's important to note that you will be on standby for emergency cover only and won't be assigned a pre-planned rota.

Your work hours will be allocated based on uncovered care hours resulting from staff sickness or emergencies. You will be part of a welcoming team, working for a company that genuinely values the quality of service provided. Additionally, you will receive reimbursement for mileage at a rate of £0.45 per mile, along with an extra £0.50 per call as a driver's fuel allowance, bridge crossing costs covered, annual leave entitlement, comprehensive training and support, shadowing opportunities, training for complex clients (to prepare for emergency cover), and a mobile phone with unlimited data.
