Acorn Engineering (Holbeach) Ltd has more than 20 years experience in the fabrication and manufacturing of stainless steel parts and machinery for the food Processing and Packaging industry.

We can design, prototype, test, manufacture and assemble anything from food processing equipment to high-end stainless steel packaging conveyors. All of our products are manufactured with hygiene in mind to allow for easy and deep cleaning once in-situ.

We can also fabricate pipework, stainless steel/mild steel gantries, walkways, safety equipment and guarding.

**Job description**

The role will include:

- Using engineering drawings to fabricate machinery.
- Working on a wide variety of new design machines, and developing these.
- Training on any unfamiliar machines.
- Regular work-based training where required.
- Ability to weld and fabricate Stainless Steel food processing machinery to a high standard
- Work well in a small team
- Able to make decisions
- High level of communicational skills
- Ability to solve problems and assist with new designs of machines.
- Maintain a high standard of skills and artisanship
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Willing to work overtime as and when required.

Qualifications:
Qualifications that would be preferable:
Advance level apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering biased to Welding and Fabrication.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
