Sales Ledger Administrator

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a fantastic client for a Sales Ledger Administrator, who are looking for a driven and determined individual to join the team and build a career with the company
Salary and package:
- Salary: £24kpa (open to negotiation)
- Hours: Full time, permanent role. Monday to Friday with hybrid working available
- Benefits: 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), income protection scheme, pension scheme, life insurance, employee assistance programme

Roles and responsibilities:
- To provide administrative support to the Finance department, and other support should they require
- Administer customer invoices and ensure prompt payment
- Self-manage the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure the accurate reporting and completion of management accounts
- Understand and resolve customer queries, and build successful relationships with customers
- To ensure the timely production of invoices to a large port-folio of customer accounts
- To complete strict measures of research and reporting to ensure 100% accuracy in all cases
- To reconcile statements and any other relevant customer information to ensure payment
- To liaise over the phone with appropriate level contacts for all accounts to ensure the swiftest possible payment
- To chase any non-payment and identify and resolve any problems arising.
- To accurately post data on to the Company's dedicated data base (SAP)
- To accurately process transactions onto spreadsheets
- To update price listings and communicate to all customer accounts
Key skills and experience needed:
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office - particularly Excel
- Experience with SAP would be desirable
- Time spent in a similar role
- Strong research and data recording skills
- Ability to multi task and work to deadlines
