**Bookkeeper Required at Outdoor Action Ltd, King Street, Blackburn**

We are a Family run business who is looking to acquire a bookkeeper to join their team in Blackburn.

**Experience Essential.**

Part Time 20 Hours per week

Wages above national living wage negotiable on experience.

**Main responsibilities of the role**:

- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies
- Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
- Paying vendor invoices and tracking bank account balances
- Completing VAT returns
- Preparing employee wages
- Helping the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts
- **Must have previous experience working within an accountancy practice and be proficient with**:

- QuickBooks
- QTAC Payroll
- PAYE
- VAT
- Excel files
- Word files
- Staff Pensions
- Be familiar with HMRC requirements.
- Be able to work independently and without supervision
