A vacancy exists for a Butcher to work in our busy Farm Shop. The role involves preparing meat for sale from carcass, using the range of butchery tools and machinery. It also involves production of meat products such as sausages, burgers and other value add products. The jobholder will also have to show the flexibility to prepare and maintain the counter and serve customers, so excellent customer service skills are also essential. The jobholder would be required to maintain a clean and safe environment and follow HACCP principles in their work.

The role would suit an experienced Butcher (2 years +) or alternatively someone with less butchery experience who is willing to learn on the job.
