**Outreach Liaison**

**Location**:_**Daily travel around the UK**_ to referral partners (specifically Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire), with occasional remote working. Driver preferred.

**Contract**:Permanent, full time. Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm

Strive Training are looking for a dynamic and passionate Outreach Liaison to join their friendly Business Development team.

Strive Training is a dynamic, innovative and recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted in all judgements, private training provider that is expanding its services throughout the UK. Our courses are tailored to meet the needs of our learners and we take a flexible approach in how we deliver them, recognising the day-to-day challenges they face and providing a stimulating, friendly and relaxed teaching and learning environment.

Our core focus is to provide individuals with the necessary skills for work. This may be skills for individuals who are currently unemployed and looking for work or those who are looking at a change in career. We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate individual to fulfil the role of an Outreach Liaison at Strive.

**Interested?**

The Outreach Liaison is responsible for establishing, maintaining and developing positive relationships with Job Centres, Work Programme providers and other external agencies and promoting Strive Training courses to potential learners and advisors for referral onto Strive Training courses.

Working on our ESFA contract, across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, your target will be to support at least 30 referrals onto a Strive provision on a weekly basis.

**Full Job Description**

**What you will be doing**
- Liaise with Job Centres and other outside agencies such as Work Programme providers to ensure ongoing positive relationships and referrals to training programmes.
- Agree and schedule with your line Manager a monthly timetable to present our opportunities and conduct a virtual and face to face guided registration webinar for partner referrals to ensure every referral becomes a course start.
- Undertake screening, assessments and enrolments for all referrals and offer support and advice for potential referrals while based at partner centres.
- Establish, maintain and develop positive and effective professional working relationships with advisors and partner agency staff.
- Complete the booking process for all referrals onto Strive Training SWAP’s, Home Learning and VLE courses ensuring all client referrals meet the eligibility criteria.
- Record and inform the Job Centre and partner agencies of any referrals who fail to attend their course.
- Complete any administrative paperwork required by the Job Centre or partner agencies as part of the booking and referral process.
- Support any promotional virtual events or open days scheduled by the Job Centre and partner agencies to capture potential referrals and support the recruitment process with your line manager as and when required.
- Maximise learner progression opportunities by signposting and promoting other Strive Training courses that learners could progress to and complete the enrolment and booking process.
- Actively promote Strive Training courses through leaflet distribution and other promotional activities as and when required.
- Attend team meetings as and when required.
- Ensure any safeguarding concerns are escalated to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all other relevant legislation.
- Undertake any other administrative duties commensurate with the post.
- Capable of managing own workload and deal with conflicting demands and timescales.
- Able to demonstrate coaching/mentoring experience and persuasion/influencing skills.
- Passionate about the Company’s services and provisions and able to communicate this to our learners
