**Job Purpose and Summary
What we ask**
- Develop &/or consult with RSOs to implement consumer product Customer and Channel marketing strategies, designed for key growth markets across the Developing Markets business territory.
- Discuss & consolidate RSO marketing activity plans and share with BDM’s in an activity calendar format.
- Create a channel for best practice sharing marketing campaigns for a specific product, range, event or season.
- Invest & track DRBG marketing financial budget with clear ROI targets.
- RFA (request for approval) & PO (purchase order) for campaign creation, additional translation requirements and adhoc projects.
- Brainstorm and develop activity to create new demand for Canon consumer products. Activity to include marketing, customer education &/or roadshows.
- Develop and deliver marketing briefs to head office marketing functions or external agencies for the delivery of marketing campaigns, specifically supporting the demand generation initiatives.
- Plan, organise & facilitate adhoc partner events - currently once a year but likely to expand in future.
- Work closely together with and actively support developing markets consumer product sales development teams
- Work closely together with and actively support head office Marketing & Corporate Communications teams to provide ‘fit for purpose’ marketing campaigns to regional sales companies

We are looking for a B2C Customer and Channel Marketing Specialist to act as the bridge between DRBG (Developing Regions Business Group), RSOs (regional sales offices) and Canon Europe HQ.

You will engage and support our developing countries on their marketing activities, and if required, develop & project manage specific campaigns/promotions/ activities.

You will also track & document RSO activities and share best practice amongst other RSOs.

The Customer and Channel Marketing Specialist will own & create demand generation activities to increase demand for cameras, printers & ink consumables.

**You will need**
- Marketing Professional, experience in consumer electronics markets.
- Ability to develop and implement marketing growth strategies
- Solid knowledge of marketing communications and channel marketing
- Strong analytical skills & excellent ‘delivery’ skills

Preferred skills:

- Knowledge of Digital Marketing programmes, including content/campaign creation, SEO, PPC & social media
- Use of tools such as Google Analytics or Web trends to provide insight and recommendations for change.
- Event management.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing programmes.
- Experience working in multicultural teams across a wide territory

Salary up to £48,000 plus 10% bonus
