**About this client/child**:
James 19, lives at home with his parents and younger sister, he is a witty, fun-loving young man with a great sense of humour with a love for music and socialising. James has Cerebral Palsy, Dystonia, a Learning Disability, visual impairment, a PEG, and a stomabag. James communicates 'Yes’ and 'No’ through blinking, and very much enjoys being asked questions He is a full-time wheelchair user and requires support and assistance to meet all his health, care, and social needs. His home is fully adapted and has ceilingtrack hoists installed.

**Overview of role**:
The Night Carer will work 1:1 with James assisting with his established night care routine; personal care, administering medication and repositioning, as and when required. If settled by 11.00pm, James tends to sleep through the night. The Night Carer is welcometo sleep (usual hours 11.00pm - 5.00am) as you will be alerted to tend to James via a video monitor in his room. The morning routine starts at 5.00am with preparing James’ PEG feed and medication, he tends to wake at 6.00am and needs assistance to get readyfor the day ahead. The role involves providing high quality and consistent care to James. For the right person, our client can offer flexible nights during the week and work around the night carer’s schedule, however, we are ideally looking for a minimum of4 nights per week, on a permanent basis.
