Part Time Accounts Assistant

We are working with an international recruitment company, specialising in placing professionals across multiple sectors including compliance & legal, risk, cyber security, treasury, compliance & legal. They have continuous growing presence across the UK,Europe, Middle East and North America, and are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join their finance function.
This part-time role will be spread across 3 days a week, and are looking for someone passionate about accounting, someone willing to learn and work hard and keen to have a successful accounting career, with support being provided by the dynamic and outgoingteam.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the placement starters and obtain confirmation of starting
- Raise invoices to clients, including PO chasing, and post to the ledgers
- Regular Credit Control for overdue invoices - All ledgers
- Monthly Debtors ledger reconciliations
- Month-End revenue reconciliations
- Posting and reconciliation of Debtor payments received - All companies
- Monitoring of HSBC RF facility and Debtor credit limits
- Reviewing, gaining authorisation for, and posting of Supplier Invoices.
- Reviewing and posting of Staff Expenses
- Aiding in the raising of payments to Suppliers/Staff
- Monthly supplier account reconciliations
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closing
- Assist with other accounting projects
- Experience within an accounting role
- Experience within the recruitment sector desirable but not essential
- Keen interest in accounts, and passionate about working within finance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great people skills, interracting confidently both internally and externally
- Sage system experience desirable but not essential
