Job Title - ED Ambulance Cleaner (Temporary)

Salary - £9.19ph

Hours - 10.5hrs per shift - 4 days on/4 days off shift rotation (Flexibility required) 8am-7pm

Annual leave - 210 hrs per annum

Base - Salford Royal Hospital

Reporting to - ED Ambulance Cleaner Chargehand

Pension - Auto enrolment

**Job Summary**

Understanding the challenges that ambulance crews and the emergency services face daily, and the requirements of the job that they are committed to, has helped to evolve the service that our team at JPR Solutions delivers.

The role is responsible for the in between patient clean of various NWAS vehicles, at the A&E Department. Adhering to the Trusts IPC policy, company policies and procedures, to achieve high standards of cleanliness.

You will be based at Salford Royal Hospital. A degree of flexibility and overtime is required as this is a support role to the emergency services.

**Job Specific Requirements**
- To work in line with the Trusts Infection Prevention Control policy (IPC)
- To perform cleaning and sanitisation of vehicles, at the A&E Department according to the Standing Operating Procedure (SOP).
- Ensure the appropriate manual handling techniques are applied as per training when moving and handling equipment.
- Liaising with ambulance station teams.
- Ensure health & Safety guidelines are followed according to current policies and procedures.
- To comply with any risk assessments to control hazards and implement safe systems of work to reduce dangers or risks to yourself, and others.
- Work unsupervised under the company’s’ lone worker policy, where necessary.
- Be able to plan and communicate daily tasks.
- To undertake any further duties as requested by your line manager.

**Person Specification**
- Good interpersonal skills, with a professional and polite manner.
- Have a valid UK driving licence and over the age of 25 is preferred but not essential, with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Essential to be receptive to new ideas and a willingness to adapt to change.
- Cleaning experience preferred; however full training will be provided.
- Can work as part of a team and to work on own initiative

Pay: £9.19 per hour
