**Groundworker**

**Responsible to**: Site Manager

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Undertake a range of groundworks tasks on site as directed by the Site Manager or Project Manager including concrete, drainage, kerbing and moving materials and equipment.
- Use mobile systems to record the work on site
- Undertake routine maintenance of tools and equipment, completing all the relevant log sheets.
- Make sure that security protocols are followed when storing tools and equipment.
- Always be compliant with health and safety requirements and the company’s Health and Safety policy.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the Site Manager, Project Manager or Contracts Manager

**Person Specification**
- Experience of using a range of equipment and machinery such as excavators/dumpers/telehandlers.
- Previous experience working as a groundworker labourer a distinct advantage.
- Experience with concrete, drainage and kerbing is essential.
- The ability to work prioritise tasks to meeting changing business needs
- Excellent time management and personal organisational
- Be able to work well in a team environment and under your own initiative,
- Have the ability work to instruction and to deadlines and be highly motivated.

**Qualifications and Certification**
- Hold a current CSCS card
- Full Clean Driving licence
- You will be expected to have a DBS security check

**Additional Information**

**Working Hours**:Full Time, Monday to Friday

**Location**:Devon based office (South West coverage)

**Remuneration**:£28,000 to £38,000 per annum
