Fabrication Supervisor

Job Description:
Fabrication includes Weighbridges, Conveyors, Hoppers, Structural Steelwork, Excavator Equipment etc.

Some onsite repair and install work

Quality checks of fabricated items

Ensuring items ready for deadlines

Working closely with management to achieve aims of Fabrication Department

4 day week option - note, some Friday/Saturday work will be required at times (very occasionally Sunday too) - flexibility around this is essential.

Essential:

- Considerable experience in heavy welding and fabrication
- Able to read drawings confidently
- MIG/MAG welding - high quality of work and attention to detail
- Good communication
- Ability to guide and motivate a small team
- Ability to communicate well with a team
- Positive approach
- Flexible attitude to other reasonable business needs
- Driving licence
- Forklift and overhead crane experience
- Reliability
- Previous supervisor experience

Desirable:

- Coded or previously coded/qualified welder - MIG/MAG
- Other relevant experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
