Main purpose of the job
- Accurate and efficient management of the company accounts
- Ensuring payment of all customer invoices within the company’s terms
- Ensure payroll company provided with monthly information accurately and promptly

Accounting
- Process and pay invoices on Xero
- Complete and submit tax returns, VAT returns and NI contributions
- Check UK and overseas invoices against QC’s and enter onto Xero
- Enter BACS receipts for the company onto Xero
- Make BACS payments to UK and overseas suppliers
- Bank reconciliation for company accounts
- Administer petty cash and balance customer cash till
- Accruals and repayments and associated spreadsheet
- End of month customer statements
- End of month stock journals

Credit control
- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting overdue invoices and debts
- Evaluating new credit requests and setting up terms and conditions of credit
- Processing and reconciliation of invoices to Xero
- Checking and posting receipts onto Xero

Payroll
- Provide monthly timesheets for staff to the payroll company
- Provide P45’s, new starter details and pension scheme details to the payroll company

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 17 per week

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
