**Salary - £26,600-£33,300 (+ £750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience.**

**Contract type - Fixed Term - April 2025**

**About the role**

We are currently recruiting for a Decarbonisation Project Officer - Clerk of Works based in West Bromwich, on a fixed term contract until April 2025 with the potential to extend to July 2025.The location will temporary be based in West Bromwich and will move to Brindley Place, Birmingham. This vacancy can also be based in Wiltshire, there will be required travel between offices as and when required.

You will monitor project works at multiple sites for the installation of retrofit measures and liaise regularly, and provide information to, the retrofit coordinators, Savills Consultants, in order to ensure compliance with designs, quality of works and adherence to health and safety requirements.

This role will be client facing representative on site for the works, and undertake tenant engagement as required, with support from project administration team and the constructor tenant liaison officers.

**About you**

It is essential that you have a Housing Construction Qualification, this will also include a qualification in or experience and good knowledge of Health and Safety.

You will have experience of a customer facing service, including the ability to communicate and work with internal and external customers, stakeholders and colleagues at all levels, with varying needs and involve them in the development of services.

Experience of using a housing management IT system is desirable but not essential.

Ideally you will be a member of CIOB or RICS hold PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management qualification.

Achieved or studying for The Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction Inspectorate.
