Job Introduction
As a** Catering Assistant / Stores Person **at Sodexo in **Doncaster Royal Infirmary, **you'll be the go-to person, the one who will know where everything is and ensures the areas runs efficiently

Once taking receipt of deliveries into the Hospital you will check and record the temperatures of all food storage areas. You'll always ensure areas are maintained and efficiently performing, reporting any faults and non-compliances.

As well as this you will also work alongside our amazing **Catering Team**, where we are passionate about food and we place our patients at the heart of everything we do. Our team of **Catering Assistants **aim to deliver a great service, and we are currently looking to grow our team.

You will be responsible for preparing and serving food with due care and attention. You will deliver food to the ward and then collect and wash up the crockery and cutlery afterwards, always ensuring your work areas are glistening

**What you’ll do**:

- Take in receipt of deliveries
- Check and record temperatures of all food storage areas
- Assist in setup and serving of hot and/or cold foods from counters and steamtables
- Clean and sanitise equipment and workstations
- Reads recipes and/or product directions
- Breakdown stations at the end of meal periods or service

- Basic food-handling skills
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)

Package Description
- 30 hours per week
- 4-5 days over 7, shift times ranging from 7am - 8pm
