**DEBRA** are seeking a **Trust Fundraiser** to work within our motivated and busy fundraising team. This is a permanent full time position **35 hours** per week at our Head Office is based in Bracknell, with the flexibility of working from home. This role reports directly to the Director of Fundraising. The Trust Fundriaser starting salary is between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum depending on experience.

**Purpose & Main Activities of the Role**
- To research sources of funding from trusts and foundations in the UK
- To maintain good communication with donor trusts, and potential donor trusts, about DEBRA’s work and, in particular to ensure periodic reports are submitted on specific projects funded;
- To ensure that DEBRA’s database is kept up-to-date;
- To keep up-to-date with DEBRA projects and work to ensure that funding proposals are relevant;
- To arrange regular meetings with the Members Team, DEBRA Research Team and other teams involved in DEBRA’s charitable activities to ensure that full knowledge is in pace of strategic aims for the next two years;
- To liaise with other DEBRA staff for information on funding requirements and supporter care;
- To keep full records of funds applied for and received.

**Person Specification**
- Highly developed communication (verbal and written) skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team environment
- Confident decision maker
- Efficient IT skills and constructively using the database
- Trust fundraising experience
- Understanding of fundraising legislation and challenges
