We have an exciting job opportunity for the position of Early Years and Childcare Inclusion Adviser (0-5yrs). Working within the CYC Inclusion Service we are looking to recruit an experienced, committed and enthusiastic person to provide high quality advice for SEND across the early years sector (0-5yrs) within the city.

The successful applicant will act as the CYC Early Years area SENCO and be responsible for advising, supporting and challenging leaders of early years settings to improve access and inclusion for children with SEND within early years and childcare provision (0-5). The successful applicant will coordinate the Early Years SENCO network and co-deliver SENCO training.

You will be capable of working on your own initiative under the guidance of a manager. Essentially, you will work collaboratively within the city alongside colleagues within the Education, Skills and SEND directorate to champion best practice to ensure children aged 0-5 with SEND can access provision.

Experience of working within the early years sector, with particular reference to inclusion for children with SEND is essential.
