Stores Coordinator

Adecco are recruiting for a Stores Coordinator to join our client in South Ayrshire on a permanent basis. Who are specialists in providing precision machined components.

Your main role will be to ensure effective administration of the stores function

You will have many responsibilities, some will include:

- Receive any incoming purchase orders systematically and produce any labels required or any other actions
- Count various stocks, documenting levels and changes and transact systematically to ensure overall stock accuracy
- Issue physically and systematically any stores stock required by production
- Undertake any stores stock requests and report findings and alter stocks accordingly
- Have the capabilities to transact and maintain online Syteline Stock records, whilst maintaining good numeracy and reading skills
- Load and unload vehicles using forklift or other lifting equipment as required
- Ensure stock items are located and identified correctly
- To carry out relevant training as and when required
- To work within the company management system, processes and procedures, so as to be fully compliant with all standards, legislation, governance and specifications
- To ensure the strategic direction, quality, environmental, health and safety policies are understood and where required the objectives, targets and key performance indicators are measured, evaluated and reported to demonstrate continuous improvement of the management system
