SPR Careers are proud to be working with a public sector client to recruit for a **Neighbourhood Repairs Clerk **within the Oldbury area.

Your role will be to provide administrative support dealing with claims for Housing Disrepair. This role includes collating information to respond to Subject Access Requests and Disclosure reports, monitoring cases, dealing with enquiries and tracking works orders through our Job Manager system.

**Neighbourhood Repairs Clerk Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To monitor constantly ensuring efficient use of resources in the electronic work scheduler, to meet turnaround times within a set timescale.
- To ensure resources are fully optimised and to meet KPI targets.
- To monitor that all jobs are completed within agreed timescales.
- To ensure craft employees have the workload to allow the to perform to an optimum level at all times.
- To liaise with craft employees when jobs are running over schedule.
- Monitor and report on craft employee performance levels.
- Decide upon action required to change or reallocate resources to achieve maximum efficiency.
- To keep customers fully informed of their repair appointment.
- To report PDA’s issues to ICT and managers.
- To liaise with the Senior Neighbourhood Repair Co-ordinator to resolve issues relating to missed appointments or job-related problems.
- Maintain the electronic work scheduler database, liaising with the Senior Neighbourhood Repairs Co-ordinator with any updates/changes required.
- To operate ICT systems, within a busy work environment, always adhering to the procedures and guidelines laid down.
- To carry out day to day administration duties, working as part of the team, this will include all aspects of dealing with repairs and general office duties. Including receiving calls from stakeholders and take the necessary action to conclude the enquiry.
- To provide a technical and administrative support to Repair Managers and Neighbourhood Repair Officers (NRO).
- To record accurately all attendance for employees in your service area and provide such information regularly to Managers.
- To ensure delivery of materials and/or joinery requisitioned by NRO’s is requested from supplies accordingly to meet work planning and appointment dates by giving sufficient prior notice.
- To liaise with other sections and Contractors as necessary to meet work order timescales.
- To utilise I-procurement systems to order materials, plant/scaffolds etc. or raise orders and paying invoices for contractors as required.
- Be responsible for keeping updated transport records, including licences and notifying drivers of forthcoming vehicle services having arranged replacements as required.
- To assist in the preparation of statistical information
- To be responsible for ensuring stationary and other office supplies are maintained.

- Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post to assist the Thematic Area in the fulfilment of its objectives commensurate with the post holder's salary grade, abilities and aptitudes.
