Autocad Draughtsman/woman

**Design Draughtsman - Location Altrincham, Cheshire**

With their design office based in South Manchester, they subcontract their manufacturing to multiple facilities based in England and Scotland. Primarily working within the Automotive, Aerospace, nuclear and material handling sectors they have developed a reputation for excellence.

**Job description**:
With consistent growth, our client has created an exciting opportunity for a Design Draughtsman/woman to join their growing design team based in Altrincham.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Generating detailed 2D general arrangement and fabrication drawings from quotations using the company’s build specification and components data sheets.
- Creating detailed raw material and parts list using Microsoft Excel
- Ensuring project traceability is maintained via drawing registers, customer approval records andparts/servicing list.
- Working on multiple projects at one time.
- Experience of design in a similar industry or structural engineering.
- HNC/HND in an engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (Primary software).
- Knowledge of design, engineering and AutoCAD standards.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Clean driving licence (some points acceptable)
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of manufacture process is advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
