Geek Designs are a full-service design, development and marketing agency that partners with businesses who aspire to unlock the unique value of their brand and maximise their digital output. Our fully loaded digital studio provides web design, development and digital marketing services for businesses across the country.
We’re looking for a Geek, could **you** be the next?
We are currently on the lookout for a part time graphic designer to join our in-house team. Our new designer will need to be creative and have the flair to provide new ideas for design projects and marketing campaigns.
The individual will be involved with the design of websites, branding, offline marketing material. Additionally, we would love to invite an individual to our team who is artistically talented, with the ability to create bespoke illustrations for clients both isometric and flat
Our ideal graphic designer will have an excitable passion for conceptualising new ideas and turning them into engaging marketing material, illustrations, typography and moving images.
Overall, we would like to find a graphic designer who is committed to their work and ideas and would like to join Geek Designs on their journey.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Follow design briefs and create original concepts and content for websites, print and digital use.
- Work collaboratively as part of the team with marketing, sales and other designers to keep projects on track.
- Bring ideas to life, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrate your thought process for each project brief and generate proficient ideas.
- Be able to manage own workload on various projects, often with short deadlines.
- Designing outstanding websites and landing pages, using mock-up tool Adobe XD in a development-ready format.
**PREFERRED / REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly XD, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Excellent design skills, both online and freehand.
- Proactive with ideas and concepts for all kinds of businesses.
- Talented hands-on designer, oozing creativity with big ideas and a contemporary approach to design.
- Motivated self-starter looking for an exciting and varied new challenge.
- Understands the importance of consistency and attention to detail.
- A good understanding of UX/UI design, wireframes and the user experience.
- Content design skills covering product information, marketing brochures, eBook and whitepapers are useful.
