**WHM Pet Group (Marriages) are looking for a new team member to join our Supply Chain Team. This role will report to the Head of Supply Chain.**

**The duties may vary, however some of the main duties are**:

- Manage the day-to-day inventory on all packaging and directly purchased goods to meet company stockholding guidelines and actively reduce stockholding across these categories.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the MRP system and review min/max stockholding on lines where required.
- Be part of the project team currently implementing a new MRP system.
- Responsible for managing and placing all purchase orders for packaging and purchased goods requirements.
- Manage the performance of all packaging suppliers in collaboration with the buying team, continuously keeping up to speed on lead times for core packaging items and looking at fulfilment from key suppliers.
- Work and collaborate with the Marketing and Buying teams around MRP requirements for new product launches and delists - actively keeping wastage and stock to a minimum.
- Assist and evaluate the waste streams generated by the manufacturing process on packaging.
- Contribute to monthly stock takes and manage stock levels on packaging kept at third party stores

Core hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, based at our Office at Holme-on-Spalding Moor.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous Experience as a Material Controller, Material Purchaser or Material Planner, preferably from within an FMCG business
- Proven experience working with MRP systems
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft excel
- Inventory management experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to review current processes and identify improvements.

Own transport is essential to commute to the office.
