We have an exciting opportunity here at Reed Our client, Leicestershire County Council, is looking for a Practice Educator to join their team. The role will be within Adults services but those with experience in Children's services are still invited toapply.

The role will include working with Social Work Apprentices and Newly Qualified Social Workers who are employed by Leicestershire.

The role is working from home, except for observations and the occasional in-person meeting. They will also consider condensed hours.

**The responsibilities of the role are**:

- Carrying out direct observations, supervision meetings and reviews for up to six social work apprentices and two ASYE social workers.
- Providing reports to accompany reviews.
- Attending Development Days which help to enhance the training programme.
- Positively contributing to the quality of work at Leicestershire.

**Requirements of the role**:

- Social Work England registered.
- Practice Educator Level 2 qualification as well as Social Work Degree or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Access to own vehicle and full UK driving license.
