- **Making quality second nature.** This means doing what’s right even when no one’s looking. The work that you will do has a major impact on our clients and our firm. We pride ourselves on the high-level standards we have for the work that we do.
- **Own your own work. **Working alongside other Payroll Supervisors, you will co-lead payroll operations to ensure all outsourced client payrolls and electronic bank payments are processed accurately and on time. You will ensure all client work is carried out accurately, profitably and on a timely basis in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partners. You will have solid payroll technical knowledge allowing you to proactively review all payroll work before it is sent to clients.
- **Be a part of a team.** You will be working with a team of likeminded payroll professionals. You will be supervising and developing our Payroll Associates and Trainee Payroll Associates technically and operationally. You will lead in managing each team members client portfolio and ensuring that work is re-allocated as required to cover absence, bottlenecks and unique events. You will be fully supported by the Payroll Management team and other Payroll Supervisors and will report to a Payroll Manager.
- **Take responsibility.** You will have a busy and varied role. The key elements of the role will include: Preparing approximately 10 complex payrolls per month ranging from 1 to 400 employees from start to finish to a high level of accuracy whilst meeting strict client deadlines

Payroll and electronic bank payment reviews
Escalation point for technical or operational issues
Supervising workload within the pod system, and ensuring that work is re-allocated as required to cover absence and bottlenecks
Reviewing Payrolls prepared by Payroll Associates and Trainee Payroll Associates
Dealing with escalation issues arising from clients
Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll output and payments
Attending client meetings.

- Experience of outsourced payroll in a bureau environment
- Strong payroll technical knowledge
- Advanced level Excel skills

- Good communicator with colleagues and clients
- Wants to be part of a growing service line within the organisation
