One of the Big 4 are looking for an IT Category Manager to join their team.
**Your new company**
You have the potential to work in the Internal Technology Procurement Team at one of the Big 4. This organisation offers various professional business services to their clients. You would be directly reporting to the Technology Category Director but will alsobe working alongside with the wider team.
**Your new role**
A vacancy has opened in the Internal Technology Procurement Team, which currently consists of 17 team members. Your new role will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies that drive greater efficiency, effectiveness, and value from the ITsupply chain. This is an extremely customer facing role and you will be responsible for procuring products and services in the IT space for clients. You will also be accountable for risk management focusing on the delivery of value and negotiation of contractswith suppliers. It is vital that you maintain strong working relationships in order to liaise with stakeholders.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will need to have well-development commercial and technical expertise in the area of strategic sourcing to help develop effective strategies. You will also need to be in possession of excellent communication and relationship management skills. You willhave the ability to identify and address risk management issues. This role is likely to suit a professional qualified or part qualified in MCIPS individual or someone who has proven category experience.
