**THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

The objective of the role is to process payroll for our Employment Services Support (ESS) clients, ensuring accuracy of pay, timely response to pay queries, liaising with the finance team to ensure all compliance with our legal duties and providing an exceptional service to our clients.

We are happy to offer this role on a part-time basis, 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR**
- Processing monthly timesheets into our payroll software
- Calculating holiday pay, sickness pay etc.
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Preparing payroll reports for review and sign-off
- Preparing payment files for finance for net pay and PAYE
- RTI submissions
- Pension contributions submissions
- Setting up new payrolls in our software and with HMRC
- Setting up new pension schemes with NEST
- Auto-enrolment of new employees
- Responding to payroll queries
- Reconciliation of payroll data to client accounts
- Monitor client accounts to ensure funding is in place for monthly payrolls
- Providing monthly payroll reports to third parties as required to support funding requests

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Able to plan and prioritise workload around non-negotiable deadlines (pay dates)
- Preferably experience with processing casual worker pay/variable hours pay.
- Pro-active approach to dealing with queries.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Comfortable with dealing with high volumes of data.
- Experience with BrightPay payroll software desired.
- Experience with Sage 200 desired.
- Highly motivated to provide exceptional service to our clients.
- Experience working across different teams.
