Quality Inspector

**JOB- Quality Inspector **LOCATION-Royston**TERM- Permanent**SALARY- £20,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience**
We are looking for Quality Inspector on a permanent basis in the Royston area with experience in the manufacturing industry. Your main duty will be to assist the Quality Management Team in the day to day running of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Thiswould be well suited for a quality inspector looking to step up into an engineer role further down the line. **The Quality Inspector will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Qualified in Engineering ideally (NVQ / HNC / HND / Degree or similar) OR Qualified by experience
- Previous experience working in a similar Quality role
- Understanding of various inspection techniques and tools such as Verniers, micrometers etc.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 quality standards.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience of inspection within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
- Be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
- Good problem-solving skills.

**The Quality Inspector role will involve**:

- Ensuring that any failures are reviewed with manufacturing and engineering.
- Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards.
- Carrying out inspection of various products throughout manufacturing.
- Supporting the Quality Assurance team with dimensional testing using relevant equipment.
- Maintaining the QMS to ISO9001
- Liaising with other departments
