**The Opportunity**

Come and join our Nuclear Cyber Security team as part of EDF Nuclear providing Information Security expertise to both our current Nuclear Operations and the future Nuclear Power stations at Hinkley Point C (HPC) and Sizewell C (SZC). We have opportunities from Analyst through to Management/Lead level. This is an exciting time to be part of EDF as we transition existing fleet into the decommissioning phase whilst building up the new Nuclear Energy capability and helping the UK towards its Net Zero targets.

At EDF we are looking to both add to the teams existing expertise and also plan for the future in order to maintain our capabilities across both Information Technology and Operational Technology so we can and continue to provide the high-levels of professional knowledge and guidance across the Nuclear Business. This involves supporting the often complex operating environments you would expect to find in such a safety critical business, whilst also helping to shape our major cyber improvement programmes in order to stay ahead of the ever changing cyber security challenges we face.

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.#

**The Role**

You’ll be part of a team responsible for the governance and oversight for cyber security whilst providing InfoSec expertise at varying technical levels covering a variety of activities such as setting policy, assurance against security profiles, incident response, and cyber risk management. We are looking for skills across a range of levels and look to provide staff with both internal training and mentorship whilst being supportive of external training where necessary.

**The Skills**

The primary skills for the Cyber Security & Information Security roles are:

- Knowledge and understanding of cyber security frameworks such as ISO27001, IS27005, NCSC CAF, NIST, ONR SyAPS
- Experience of identifying and managing Cyber Risks, in particular with relation to business objectives
- Understanding of cyber security in a cloud environment
- Security aspects of Incident Management and Business Continuity
- Experience of conducting cyber security assessments
- Experience of carrying out cyber security assurance activities

**Formal Cyber Security Qualifications such as**:

- ISC2 CISSP, CCSP; ISACA CISM, CRISC; CSA CCSK, ISO 27001/27005 Lead Implementer/Auditor
