Swindon, United Kingdom Completely Care Full time

We are looking for a Recovery coordinator to work at a site based in Swindon, the salary is between £26,000-£30,000 depending on experience. This a rewarding position working for a great organisation starting ASAP.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

You will provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referrals to local partnership’s. You will be helping to reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.

You will be working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination You must have a strong understanding of substance misuse issues and experience of working within a similar field and be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills.

You must be proactive and able to work on your own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills and have a good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services, and good practice. You must be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that the successful applicant has a full UK driving licence and use of their own vehicle.
