You will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administrative service to the Operations Manager, Service Manager, Matron and the wider management team within the Child Health Directorate. You will be expected to have the ability to work pro-actively both independently and as part of a wider team ensuring information is communicated appropriately and enquiries are directed correctly at the same time mainting effective working relationships at all levels both in and externally.

You will have excellent organisational, secretarial and communication skills, with a pass in GCSE English Language.

You will need to be a team player, with experience of working in a busy office environment. The Trust is an ever-changing environment and you would need to be able to retain your focus on providing an excellent service.

- Manage the diraries of he Senior Management team within the Child Health Directorate. Co-ordinate and arrange meetings as directored by the Operations Manager, Matron and other members of the Leadership team. Undertake agenda and minutes distributing these to members in a timely manaer.
- Dealing with confidential correspondance, reports and telephone enquiries in an efficient and effective manner.
- Co-ordination and organisation of Child Health events, such as SCBU roadshows, interviews and presentations.
- To undertake administrative duties to support the Child Health leadership team in ensuring the services are met to the highest standard expected from the Trust. These include typing letters, undertaking minutes and setting up agendas for meetings, producing reports as necessary, ordering stationery and other equipment, recording annual and sickness leave. and other duties as the need arises.

You will be joining a friendly and supportive admin team within the Child Health Directorate.

The Child Health directorate is the equivalent of a mini hospital, the department looks after all manner of childhood hospital admissions and outpatient pathways from 0-18 yrs. The Administration team are integral to these pathways and are often the first point of contact both for professionals and service users.

The most rewarding part of this role will be knowing your have contributed to ensuring the services needs are met to ensure patients are provided with the best care in a safe environment and within a timely manner.
