An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Customer Service Repairs Officer to join the housing team at one of Adecco's most improved public sector clients in a temporary role for the next 3-6 months.

Key elements of the role include:

- Delivering a high-level health and safety compliance service, ensuring testing and actions are carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Devising and maintaining a stock condition database, booking regular maintenance jobs to ensure company stock is safe and well maintained.
- Acting as key point of contact between Customers, Contractors and other staff with regards to repairs and health and safety issues for properties, organising and monitoring reactive repairs jobs as they are reported.
- Providing administrative service for the team to include managing general enquiries and participating in the office cover rota.
- Managing reports of repairs (along with other team members), liaising with residents and contractors to ensure the job is completed to a good standard.
- Raising orders on our client's IT system for day to day repairs and to generally monitor progress of orders placed, liaising with maintenance contractors and tenants
- Assisting in the delivery of an efficient and effective void process, dealing with the closure of old tenancies and helping to ensure that vacancies can be re-let as quickly as possible
- Liaising with and providing initial advice to contractors, tenants and members of the public about property and housing matters
- Compiling & reporting on maintenance-related KPI stats, customer feedback surveys
