Simply put, we're looking for a Head of Production to join our manufacturing plant, who doesn't want to rip up the rule book, but is confident in implementing practices which will make us build quality homes, faster and more efficiently.

Our manufacturing plant has been operational for over 50 years, and we like to think we have some of the best employees in the business, who are all as equally passionate as we are about building quality park homes and lodges. With over 160 staff in ourmanufacturing department, there certainly won't be any dull moments

If you're not put off yet, here's how you will be successful in the role of Head of Production:

- Work with production managers to set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
- Organise production workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Create and implement strategic plans within Production.
- Oversee and coach employees to ensure we are regularly upskilling and providing relevant training.
- Support production managers in ensuring training matrices and development plans are implemented for all staff.
- Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions.
- Undertake all aspects of people management, conducting regular return to work meetings, probation, and appraisal review meetings.
- Be accountable for production labour and output targets.
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
- Delegate work to employees, track progress, and provide constructive feedback throughout projects.
- Address problems with work quality, issues between employees, and other concerns in an effective, timely manner.

Production Managers with experience in the following areas would suit this role: production, management, manufacturing, lean management, park home manufacturing, construction management, MS Office, IT literacy.

**Essential Skills**:

- Proven experience as Head of Production/Production Manager or similar role
- Strong experience within people management
- Lean management experience
- Advanced skills in MS Office
- Organisational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- IT literate
- KPI focused
- Conflict management
- A flexible individual who can take ownership of their own role, with strong communication and organisational abilities and able to work on their own initiative, alone or as part of a team and not be easily distracted.
- Must be able to work to and achieve deadlines, dealing with related pressure
