**About the role of Sales Consultant at JT Dove**:
We have an exciting opening for an ambitious, motivated individual to join the sales team at our Hexham branch.

**The main duties for this role include**:

- Selling the full range of products to both retail and trade customers.
- Work towards set sales targets.
- Monitoring results and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Interpreting customer needs accurately.
- Responding quickly and efficiently to customer enquiries.
- Ensuring accurate pricing of orders.
- Managing accounts and stock on a day-to-day basis
- Contributing to the success of the branch.
- Developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Providing excellent customer service at all times within a fast-moving environment
- Previous customer service and/or sales experience, ideally from a merchant background
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record selling and negotiating, both in person and over the phone
- An interest in developing a career in a busy sales environment
- Real passion to deliver excellent customer service, both in person and over the phone
- Natural drive for achieving targets
- The ability to be resilient and adaptable with the ability to juggle changing priorities

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
