Ripon Paint and Body is an accident and repair centre part of the Ripon Farm Services Group. It is a family owned multibranch agricultural dealer covering 14 sites within Yorkshire, Teesside, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
Operating from new purpose built premises, Ripon Paint and Body holds a number of insurance and manufacture approvals, including Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover and the VW Group, to name but a few.
**Duties**:
- This is a very busy and pivotal role within the Bodyshop and you will act as the point of contact for both internal and external customer enquires.
- The role will co-ordinate the booking-in and checking out of vehicles and liaising with vehicle manufactures and insurance providers appropriately.
- You will be required to maintain workflows and systems, keeping accurate logs using electronic and paper systems.
- Duties include opening works orders, processing payments, invoices and liaising with estimator to process supplementary assessments.
- End of day processes.
- Responsibility for the loan car fleet.
- Other administrative duties associated with running a busy Bodyshop.
**Qualities**
- You will need to be highly organised and efficient with excellent administrative and customer service skills. You must have the ability to follow processes and have a keen eye for detail;
- You will also need to be able to communicate effectively across all departments, branches and directly with our customers;
- The role will require you to demonstrate excellent computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office packages along with the ability to learn our bespoke IT programs, systems and processes;
- Knowledge of EMACS or other Bodyshop administration systems would be advantageous but not essential;
- Each day will present a different challenge and you will need a considered and pragmatic approach to working to resolve these challenges;
- This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator with experience of working within the motor trade or a fantastic change of career for somebody looking to learn something new;
All training will be provided where required.
**Hours of work**:
You will work full-time Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings. Occasional overtime may be required to suit the business demands.
