**Role Purpose**

A key cornerstone capability to support our Vodafone digital vision is our use of data, business intelligence and analytics. From management information systems to real time embedded analytics there has never been a more important time to define and implement the next corporate analytics strategy for Vodafone.

This role is accountable for the end to end design, build, deploy and run of corporate analytical products - driving the growth, delivery and operational excellence that will maximize the value of our data. Ultimately saving time, simplifying and enabling faster, data-driven decision making. The technology suite currently compromises of a large on premise SAP estate (SAP BW/HANA/Business Objects/BPC/BDMA) and associated cloud solutions (Ariba, Concur, Success Factors, Fieldglass). As well as process mining (Celonis) and a rapidly evolving analytics capability on Google cloud.

This role will manage a multi discipline team - driving a transformation with a product mindset and
delivering analytical solutions in an agile manner. They will provide leadership in a complex IT landscapes and management across a number of matrix teams - including architecture, security, infrastructure and various third parties as required.

**Purpose of the role is as follows**:

- Accountable for the E2E delivery of corporate analytics roadmap, across all dimensions of people, process and technology. Ensuring the products are robust, sustainable and agile for future business needs.
- Accountable for transforming and optimizing corporate analytics products - maturing delivery model and agile practices to maximize the potential of the teams, system integrators and off-shore resources to satisfy business demands.
- Accountable for day to day service, driving and owning any corresponding IT service improvement plans
- Accountable for ensuring all platforms and products in their portfolio meet IT policy guidelines in terms of SoX, IT controls, IT resilience and vulnerability management. Key gatekeeper in approving all change that may impact the risk profile of the service.
- Accountable for regular service and product roadmap reviews with key business stakeholders
- Responsible for Business Case inputs related to transformational projects initiated by the business including the costing of effort, landscape and delivery capabilities in line with Global architecture standards.

- Accountable for the definition and delivery of an agile corporate analytics roadmap
- Manage and control the technical delivery - ensuring compliance with security and related CoE governance controls
- End to delivery life cycle ownership - leveraging agile best practices and identifying improvements to drive continuous improvement
- Drive performance assessment & capability improvements for both direct team and associated service providers
- Accountable to represent delivery to key stakeholders and senior leaders
- Experience and expertise of SAP ERP & BI systems, SAP and functional expertise e.g Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Audit et
- Proven track record of successful delivery with system integration across a breadth of IT (Application Development, Data, Test, Deployment, Operations. Infrastructure, Connectivity)
- Experience in dealing with an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines
- Strong people management skills to lead and develop team - as well as taking on leadership initiatives to drive improvement beyond their direct team
- High compitancy to communicate in both written (presentation) and verbally

**Must have technical / professional qualifications**:

- Min 5 years experience in delivering BI/ERP Projects with SAP
- Degree or equivalent in computer science or a scientific/technical discipline
- ITIL intermediate level certification (Service Delivery expertise)
- PMO or Prince 2 project management certification
- SCRUM or Agile delivery experience
