**BMN Co-Ordinator (R0230712)**

**Location - Crawley Base (Hybrid/Remote)**

**Are you a good organiser? Good with people? Interested in a new challenge? Then this role may be for you**

**What are we looking for?**

Our team is currently seeking an exceptional coordinator to help support UK Business Managed Networks (BMN). It is likely you’ll have been told by colleagues or a manager that you’re a great coordinator, organiser or planner.

This role is ideal for someone with an interest in IT or cyber security who is looking to get into Project Management or Change Management. You do not need to come from a technical background to apply.

**But I don’t know what a BMN is**

A BMN or Business Managed Network is any system not fully supported by the Thales UK Information Systems (IS) organisation. Think laptops, PCs, equipment rigs and workbenches that aren’t a standard Thales laptop. Because BMNs are not managed by IS we have stood up a community of BMN process and technical experts (called BMN Leads) from all different UK businesses, who have a common goal of registering, assuring and maintaining BMNs in accordance with internal and external process and policies. This end-to-end process is called “The BMN Process”.

**What will the job involve?**

The purpose of the role is to provide strategic coordination of all BMN activities in the UK, by providing guidance, direction and support to the BMN Leads within each Business Line. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Working with the BMN Leads in each different business; helping them improve, adopt and embed the BMN process.
- Helping Businesses prioritise BMN assurances, accreditations and connections
- Support the BMN community in the creation and deployment of BMN services and the deployment of BMN Portal improvements that meet the needs of the Business Lines. With opportunities to take part in the services and portal sprints and possibly working towards becoming a scrum master.
- Liaise with central IS, Security and Engineering teams on behalf of the BMN Leads
- Be the point of contacts for enquiries and escalations by the BMN Leads and Business Lines
- Be the point of contact for UK Services & Functions BMNs
- Coordinate the Thales UK response for MODCert Directives (security risk response to cyber vulnerabilities)
- Crisis Support for BMN Leads

**About the team**

We are the Central Engineering Environments (E2) team and we support the tooling and environments for Thales UK Businesses, working closely with the ISIT organisation. We can offer you a mentor for the first 6 months to help bring you up to speed with BMNs.

**What We Can Offer**

We’re committed to giving you opportunities to be your best. We believe in embracing the passion and potential of our people, and to achieve this we offer market leading training, development and experiences, along with the opportunity to be mentored and coached by some of the smartest minds in the industry. **Flexibility**

Your health and well-being matters to us and that’s why we offer you the flexibility to do what’s important to you; whether that’s part time hours, job sharing, home working, or the ability to flex your start and finish times. Where possible, we support a working pattern that suits your lifestyle and helps you reach your ambitions.
