**Design Engineer (Mechanical)**

Are you a Design Engineer from a mechanical background looking to become the go-to technical specialist for a company that has undergone significant periods of growth and has just been bought out by a household name, where you will be working on excitingand innovative projects for a company offering lots of market-leading benefits such as majorly discounted vehicles and a generous pension scheme?

On offer is the chance to be heavily involved in designing new components. You will contribute to taking R & D projects from inital stage, refining pre-production prototypes, developing into sign-offs. This is an opportunity to work with a company that completesall of the manufacturing processes from the same site, giving you lots of autonomy in your work.

This company are a leading manufacturer of their own automotive, specialist vehicles. After growing their portfolio to over 50 countries worldwide and producing bespoke, cutting edge vehicles, the company have been bought out by a household name who areputting in lots of investment into the company.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a great opportunity to become a go-to technical specialist within a company that will progress and develop your career.

**THE ROLE**:

- Contribute to project briefs, developing concepts for future products
- Creating and maintaining drawings and specifications sheets
- Testing products through different procedures

**THE PERSON**:

- Experience undertaking FEA analysis, research projects, welded assemblies
- Based near Hastings
