We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. The post holder will be based in the Operations Team and will provide administrative support across Business Development with periodic support for other teams within the service area. The service works with stakeholders - including senior elected members, schools, council officers, and suppliers - to ensure contracts are allocated fairly and correctly and in accordance with legislation, that the annual buy back process is completed on time and that help desk enquiries are supported.

About the role

Reporting to the Transport & Business Development Team Leader, the Contracts Officer will need to provide competent, organised and professional support and will handle sensitive and confidential information. Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the delivery of Business Development by dealing with help desk queries, financial support and managing contracts
- Processing business contracts with schools and other parties
- Working with other teams during peak times
- Navigating in-house ICT systems to work with data and information

About you
- Proven ability to manage data, intelligence and evidence to create meaningful insight to support both decision making and financial budgeting/reporting
- Experience of keeping and maintaining records, producing reports, presentations and written updates to a range of stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage specific projects and ensure deadlines are achieved
